Hey guys,

After sending out an e-mail to my "Reunion" contact list, I've been hearing back from a few of you. I got a nice reply from Terry & Norene Baier and she reported on the recent ice and snow that they've had in Audubon. Here's what things have been like in good old Audubon recently:

 Hi Clark,
Good to here from you and looking forward to the class reunion and the hot
and humid days of August.
This week has been a nightmare from!@#$%^&*(). It looks like a battle zone
at our place, so many trees damaged and down will take many days to clean
up this spring, but at least there won't be snow and ice on the ground
making it impossible to walk. The plus side is that we do have
electricity now. Terry and I spent quality time together wrapped in
blankets with our dog Molly and cat Chessie, reading, eating by
candlelight and watching a movie at night on a 7" portable DVD player. Our
son and his family live up by the Audubon/Carroll county border and
haven't had electricity since Wednesday. He is a mechanic and worked on
some of the utility trucks that came up from other states to help. They
thought it could be a week or longer before they get it back up. Luckily
they have a generator to keep things going.
Is Spring coming soon?????????????????????????
Looking forward to seeing everyone in August.
Terry and Dorene Baier
